Oxford Bank Robbed in Naperville
Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Naperville Police are searching for a bank robber. The FBI is involved because bank robbery is a federal
felony. The suspect is described as a shorter male, around 5'4" to 5'7" and of average to medium build. At the time he was wearing light blue jeans and a hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect robbed Oxford Bank and Trust around 6:00 p.m. Monday night. The man, who was wearing a camouflage mask, had a handgun and demanded that the teller give him money from his drawer and to take him to the vault. Police have not released the amount that was stolen from the vault. The suspect then left out the back door on foot. He has not been caught.
If caught, the man could go to prison for decades. His sentence will largely depend on the amount of money taken. The fact that he was armed will not work in his favor.
