Sitter Caught Beating Toddler on Nanny Cam
Paul Carlos, a 34 year old father, was curious as to why his two year old child was so obedient and submissive toward his babysitter, so he installed a nanny cam while she was watching his son.
As it turned out, 52 year old Erin Denny was beating the child. Denny, who was a family friend, would watch his son at his mother's house where Denny also lived. The nanny cam video showed her beating the boy because she couldn't find the remote. Carlos, upon seeing the video, chased Denny and was charged with misdemeanor assault. He was released from jail on his own recognizance. Denny is being held for the felony charge of aggravated battery to a child; her bond is set at $150,000.
Denny has a previous criminal record for heroin manufacturing, retail theft, prostitution, and domestic battery.
