Local Man Arrested for the 99th Time

Nearly a legend amongst Chicago law enforcement officers, one man was arrested for the 99th time last week for drug possession.

Police originally thought they were responding to a call regarding a man begging for money by using his 3-year-old son. When they arrived on the scene, they saw the man pushing a stroller, going door-to-door in a local neighborhood. As soon as officers started to question him, the 37-year-old suspect refused to remove his hands from his pockets. Feeling the pressure of the investigation, he then threw several baggies onto the street and ran.

A brief glance inside the bags revealed that they were filed with heroin, more of which was located on his person when officers finally caught up with him. He was taken into custody on multiple drug crime charges. This is nothing new for this suspect, however, as he has been arrested on a variety of charges in the past, including larceny and drug smuggling.

If you or someone close to you has been charged with drug crimes in Chicago, it is wise to contact a Chicago drug crimes lawyer from our law office who can get involved in the case immediately. Quick involvement may lead to better results and in some cases, may even lead to reduced or dismissed charges.
