Man Arrested for Drug Crimes during Prostitution Investigation
Just outside of Chicago, Illinois, a man was sentenced to three years behind bars for a variety of drug crimes not indicative of the quiet suburb he called home.
The suspect, a 31-year-old male, was taken into custody by police when they uncovered his identity during a prostitution investigation. At that time, he was charged with driving with a suspended license and drug possession. When he went before the judge following his arrest, the suspect pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine pills and driving with a suspended license for the fifth time.
Since he pleaded guilty, the judge gave him three years in prison, followed by a year of supervised release. In addition, he will have to pay $1,020 in fines for his various crimes. The judge dropped the other charges against the suspect, including obstructing a police officer, attempted pandering and obstructing identification.
