Serial Robber Arrested in Iowa
Police in Iowa caught a man that was wanted on multiple charges in Illinois last week. While it is uncertain why police first became interested in the 32-year-old Chicago man, it is known that he was detained in an Iowa shopping mall.
When the arresting officers ran a background check on him, they quickly learned that he had purposefully missed a hearing for first-degree robbery charges. The suspect is believed to have worked with another man to conduct a string of robberies in the Chicago area. The two would dress in black ninja clothing and carry knives when conducting robberies. It also seems as though the same man may have been involved in several robberies in Iowa back in 2008. At that time, he was seen helping another man rob a convenience store.
