NOT GUILTY

P v. MG

The Defendant was charged with Battery which is a Class A misdemeanor in the State of Illinois. If found guilty the Defendant was facing a fine of up to $2500.00 and a year in jail. The Defendant was alleged to have beat-up the sister of her ex-boyfriend.  Chicago Criminal Defense attorney Fred Acosta believed that the complaining witness was using the courts to harass the Defendant and took the case to trial where the Defendant was found NOT GUILTY.
