The Defendant was charged with Battery which is a Class A misdemeanor in the State of Illinois. If found guilty the Defendant was facing a fine of up to $2500.00 and a year in jail. The Defendant was alleged to have beat-up the sister of her ex-boyfriend.
Chicago Criminal Defense attorney Fred Acosta believed that the complaining witness was using the courts to harass the Defendant and took the case to trial where the Defendant was found
