Man Arrested in Connection with Murder
A man was arrested March 9th in connection with a murder in Lamar County in mid-July.
On July 14th Omora Harvey Gibson was accused and sought for a shooting that caused one man to be seriously injured and resulted in the death of another man. Wayne Kennedy Davis was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
U.S. Marshals arrested Gibson in Chicago. He may face charges for murder and
attempted murder with a deadly weapon.
