Young Man Suspected of Killing His Grandfather
News sources report that a young man thought he could avoid arrest by escaping to the Midwest.
Last week a young man from Cape Coral, Florida became the number one suspect in the disappearance of his grandfather. The 23-year-old decided to leave the state and hide in Chicago, Illinois. However, police were able to track him down at a homeless shelter just a few hours before the body of his grandfather was located.
The 80-year-old man was discovered deceased in a nature preserve in Cape Coral. At this time, the cause of his death is still unknown. What is known, however, is that the two were last seen together a week before the arrest leaving their home.
Just a few hours later, the boy was seen driving his grandfather's vehicle without him. Based on some comments that the young man made at a pool hall later that day, several people were concerned that he had done something to his grandfather. The police were alerted and the search for the young man began.
