3 Men Wanted for Armed Robbery

Police are looking for two or three men accused of robbing people while armed with a gun on the Near South Side. The individuals are wanted for at least three armed robberies that have accured this month in the Prairie District, according to a community alert from the local law enforcement. Two to three men approach the victims, engaged them in conversation and then pulled a gun, demanding property.

According to the alert, the suspects are black men between 5' 5" and 5' 9", 150 to 180 pounds with short or curly hairstyles.

Officers are warning nearby residents to avoid secluded areas during late night and early morning hours, be aware of surroundings and remain in well lit areas at all times
