Two men were arrested in Chicago by River Forest police following a burglary in which a witness account led to their arrest.
The two men were spotted by a neighbor of the homeowner whose house was burglarized. The witness gave an account and description of the men, which eventually led to the arrest of the two men outside a local bank and behind an apartment complex a few blocks away.
One of the two men who was arrested was found in possession of a pillowcase filled with the belongings that were reported stolen from the residence. The police believe that they were able to recover everything reported stolen from the home. The witness accounts along with the physical evidence will serve as evidence in prosecuting the alleged burglars, the police say.
